Dear Diary,
Sometimes, the hardest thing to navigate isn't the big hurdles in life, but finding a sense of consistency on the quiet, foggy days. Looking back on my journey, I am reminding myself of what it truly means to move forward at my own pace...
The definition of consistency means thickness or something stays the same, is done in the same way or looks the same.

Consistency means something else for so many people as well.
Many, many books suggest that you should get up and do things really early in the morning.
Consistency in your own life terms
Such as The 5 am Club by Robin Sharma or The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod. And yes, those are admirable attributes if you can do this.
However, if you can't do that, then it's ok. Don't try to push yourself too much.

What you actually have achieved
This post is for those of you who want consistency in your own life terms but can't get the consistency others have. It honestly doesn't matter. I know that because I can't always get what I want done on a particular day. Learning to take my time and embrace consistency on my own terms is exactly why I wrote my upcoming book, Be Who You Want to Be (arriving this June 1st). It is all about navigating life, changing your mindset, and celebrating your own unique journey.
And I often feel like a failure because of my disability, the things I can't do. But like I say in the picture above, it's just an opinion. Which is a negative one.
Changing your mindset is often the hardest thing to do.

Saying that is easier said than done, but it can be.
The first thing to remember is what you actually have achieved that day, not what you wanted to.
And be glad that you have achieved those things.
